Camping Areas
The camping areas on the Inskip Peninsula recall past shipping history. On April 2, 1926, the steamer S.S. Dorrigo, bound for Thursday Island from Brisbane, sank in heavy seas several kilometres off Double Island Point. It’s a bit morbid but don’t let that dissuade you, Inskip is a beautiful place to get back to nature and take some time to yourself.
